
that Green University of Bangladesh is proudly co-hosting the 5th National and International Hybrid Conference on Linguistic, Cultural, and Social Dynamics in Transitional Times 2026 (NICLA-2026).
This prestigious international conference will be held on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, from 08:00 to 16:30 Bangkok Time. It will take place in hybrid mode at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Princess of Naradhiwas University, Thailand, and will be accessible worldwide via Zoom (Meeting ID: 636 713 7352 | Passcode: 709030).
The conference is jointly organized by ITP Markandeya Bali (Indonesia), Thuyloi University (Vietnam), Green University of Bangladesh (Bangladesh), Prince of Songkla University (Thailand), and Universiti Sains Malaysia. As an official academic collaborator of Universiti Sains Malaysia, Green University of Bangladesh is honoured to serve as one of the co-hosts and will deliver a formal welcoming speech during the opening ceremony.
The programme features two outstanding keynote addresses:
· Adjunct Professor Dr. Yusop Boonsuk (Prince of Songkla University, Thailand) on “Not Just London and New York, Not Just Hamburger and Pizza”: Global Englishes and the Decolonization of English Language Education.
· Associate Professor Dr. Shaidatul Akma Adi Kasuma (Universiti Sains Malaysia) on “The CARE Model: Navigating Social Dynamics in Transitional Times through Service Learning”.
We are delighted to share that 58 speakers from across the globe will present their academic papers in parallel sessions covering a rich diversity of topics in linguistics, culture, and social dynamics. The day will conclude with a special talk by Dr. Yusop Boonsuk in Thai and closing remarks by the leadership of Princess of Naradhiwas University.
