Faculty Exchange Policy

Eligibility Criteria for Inbound and Outbound Institution Selection:

• GUB Faculty: GUB faculty members will be eligible to participate in exchange programs with institutions that have established or will establish partnerships or collaborations with GUB. Priority will be given to institutions that align with GUB’s research focus and academic goals.

• International Faculty: GUB will actively seek to invite faculty members from reputed universities worldwide, particularly those ranked within the top 500 universities (according to QS ranking) globally in relevant subject areas. Preference will be given to institutions that have a strong reputation in research, teaching, and innovation.

Eligibility Criteria for Inbound and outbound Visiting Faculty

• Must hold a full-time teaching or research position in a reputable academic/ research institution in a foreign country (in case of international faculty).

• Must hold a full-time teaching or research position along with PhD degree in Green University of Bangladesh (in case of Bangladeshi faculty)

• Must have a good academic record.

• Must bring a No Obligation Certificate (NOC) from their respective universities.

• Citation requirement: As part of the application process for an international visiting faculty position, applicants are required to submit citations for their top five publications. Additionally, applicants must provide a Google Scholar link to their complete publication record. This information will be instrumental in evaluating the candidate’s scholarly contributions and their alignment with the department’s research interests.”
